Featured today is a fine natural peridot from china of 2.26 carats set in sterling silver as a Mercury ring. The gem has a vivid olive green color with speckles of gold visible. Highly lustrous and with great clarity, the gem has an appealing checkerboard cushion cut. Natural peridot also known as Olivine or zabarjad is the substitute gem of natural emerald /panna and carries the planetary energy of Mercury/ Budh within it. Metaphysical and healing properties of peridot include helping the wearer, get rid of negative emotions and by regenerating positive life force by helping the endocrine system.
