Diwali (or Deepavali) is a 4-5 days festival of Hindus that commences from Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali (aka Narak Chaturdashi), Diwali, Govardhan Pooja, and Bhai Dooj.

Most of us call it the “Festival of Lights” and remember it for the triumph of Good over Evil. When we hear “Diwali”, some of the very first thoughts are irresistible sweets, relishing food, mesmerizing fireworks, new clothes, sharing happiness with our friends & family. Right?

BUT…

Let’s step outside of our homes and look around…

Life is not that simple & sweet as it seems to be. Not everyone is so privileged. There are kids who just gaze at others celebrating the festival in a hope of “Nothing”.

This Diwali, join hands and reach out to those kids who’re just holding back their tears. Let’s put a smile to those faces this festive season.

We know, there is no such thing as ‘better’ in such a noble cause. However, our efforts do count. Your efforts do count.

Spread the lights to the darkest of this world. Give the gift of happiness to the homeless & helpless.
